According to Gary Douglas, founder of Access Consciousness, our points of views create our reality. If only 4% of us think we are beautiful, then 96% of us have the point of view there is something wrong with our appearance.
What does this have to do with losing weight & feeling good about how you look and feel?
The weight loss and diet statistics are astounding! And frankly, down right shocking. And despite the statistics, the diet industry continues to gross over $64 Billion Dollars a Year just in the US alone! That tells us, that something is deeply wrong with this picture.
The average women goes on at least 8 different diets a year. Spends an average of $1,422 a year on diets, and an average of 30 years of her life on diets. That means that the average woman will spend over $44,000 on diets, pills, exercise programs, gimmicks, cellulite creams, aging creams, little machines, contraptions, muscle stimulators, quick fixes and things that don't solve the real problem.
The problem isn't your body....the problem is the lie we've been fed about how to do it.
The truth is after personally spending well over $250,000 on trying to lose weight and keep it off for good, I know there is no quick fix.
You see, the problem isn't you or your body. The problem is we've been told what to do, how to do it, when to do it, how much to do it, what to eat, when to eat, how much or how little, what's good for you, what isn't good for you, how much to exercise, and on and on and on....and I don't know about you, but I was never very good at following someone else's program long term.
Long term....forget about it!
Can you relate?
